THE PADEL LEVELS
Is it hard to place yourself in the different groups? Maybe you feel you should be playing with the big boys or maybe you felt like you ended up in a way to tough class? Use our scale to find your level! Wondering where you fit in to the classes. Check our description on the bottom.
10. PRO
You're as good as Ale Galan or Marta Ortega in the World Padel Tour, just better...
9. EXPERT
You belong amongst the very best and have mastered all the aspects of padel. You play nationaly and rank amongst the top players in Norway. You're considering to test your skills in Sweden or other countries and think you could qualify to the SPT 1.
8. ADVANCED EXPERIENCED
You've can use all the tactical and technical parts of the game. You can read the game and use different tactical points to overcome your opponent. You're amongst the best players in your club, play regularly and train to improve both physically, and in padel.
7. EXPERIENCED
You can defend and counter attack when the opportunity shows itself. You can maintain a heavy pressure on the opponents with deep volleys, and you manage to build the point from defending to claiming the point with a winning shot. In addition to playing matches, you've started training specifically to increase your level.
6. ADVANCED AVERAGE
The same as level 5, but better advances smashes, bandejas and viboras. You play with more controll and manage to change the pace in the match.
5. AVERAGE
You've played for a couple of years, and even though you're not a super talent, you're getting the ball over the net with a reasonable amount of power. The serve may still vary and unforced errors still happen a bit too often during a match.
4. SPARE TIME PLAYER
You've played for a while and are familiar with the basics. You manage to increase the speed every now and then but still have a lot to learn. You're starting to figure out how to use the walls, but you're playing inconsistent and make unforced errors quite often.
3. ADVANCED BEGINNER
You know about the basics and you're starting to understand when to use which shot. Your're not super-confident on the basics yet, but getting there. You find the walls challenging to read/use.
2. BEGINNER
You're about to learn the basics of padel, and you've just might taken a beginners course at your local club.
1. STARTER
You've never held a padelracket.
WHERE DO YOU FIT IN?
A-CLASS
As a player in the A-class, you should rank between 7 & 9 on our scale. Although if you're atthe national team level or ranked top 8 in Norway you are not allowed to enter this class.
B-CLASS
In the B-class you'll find players between 5 & 6 on the scale.
C-CLASS
The C-class is strictly reserved the newer players in the game. You're quite new and find yourself somewhere between 3-4 on the scale.
Elite
The Elite-classes are reserved for the very best. Usually, this class will not be possible to enter - and on and "invitational-basis".
Open class
When we arrange Mix Open level, anyone can join! You can be as good or as new you want - you are always welcome!
